THE CONNECTOR
The Connector of West Georgia
The Connector of West Georgia is an initiative from Community Foundation of West Georgia that works in a collaborative effort with non profits to provide assistance to those in need.
Please apply at least 10-14 days before and upload pertinent documents to the application.
Currently serving Carroll, Haralson and Heard Counties.
Please know that agencies that are part of The Connector are working together to better serve the community. Most of the agencies work with volunteers.

Georgia Power customers with a combined household income of 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines or less, may qualify for an Income-Qualified Discount. The discount is limited solely to the metered electric service and fuel cost recovery components of a customer's bill and does not apply to sales taxes or any other aspect of the bill.
LIHEAP
The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) provides financial assistance to help offset an eligible Georgia household's home energy bill. At this time, not offering a water assistance program.
Appointments can be made at www.cafi-ga.org or by calling 706-307-6670. CAFI announces their opening appointments dates at their website.
This is an easy way to find the help you need, from food pantries to healthcare, Shelter or Housing, Childcare, Financial Assistance, and Grocery stores.
Financial assistance is offered for low income clients needing assistance paying bills. They help with cooling and heating bills and possibly rent/mortgage payments. Only in Cleburne County.
