DATA

Data brings into focus for us an accurate picture of our state by pointing out our strengths, our weaknesses, and trends we may not have noticed before. GaFCP provides local leaders, state agencies and policymakers with current, reliable data they need to inform decisions about improving outcomes for the children, families, and communities they serve. We synthesize and interpret data into customized information and tools specific to our Collaboratives’ and partners’ needs.

KIDS COUNT

KIDS COUNT is a state and national effort to track the well-being of children. The state’s designated KIDS COUNT grantee, GaFCP compiles current, reliable data on child and family well-being in each of our state’s 159 counties.

INDICATORS

CHILD, FAMILY, AND COMMUNITY WELL-BEING

We track indicators of child and family well-being because they help us understand how communities are doing, where we’re strong, and where we need to work to improve, so that all children, families, and communities in Georgia are healthy and thriving.
