CCFC

Our History

Carroll County Family Connection, Inc., is one of the initial pilot sites that were created in 1991.The Collaborative has positioned itself as a non-profit focusing on networking and relationships; connecting both the general public to partners and partners to each other. While there is no one sentence to explain what Georgia Collaborative does, the tag line says it all, “Helping People Help Others”.

In 1990, Georgians embraced Governor Zell Miller’s challenge to invest in public-private partnerships and collaboration after the Annie E. Casey Foundation’s inaugural KIDS COUNT Data Book ranked Georgia 48th in the nation in child well-being.

Georgia is the only state in the nation that has consistently made that kind of investment for over 30 years.

That investment is called Family Connection.

our mission

To improve the well-being and health conditions of families through a collaborative system of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual supports.
