The Georgia Rental Assistance Program has partnered with Georgia Power Company to pay over 200,000+ outstanding utility balances for qualifying applicants. 

If you enter your Georgia Power Company account number and you are unable to access the application portal, you may not be eligible to apply for assistance through this partnership with Georgia Power Company. For more information, please contact utilityassistance@dca.ga.gov.

Call in on the first and third Tuesday of every month.  Call 770-834-5282 between 9am and 12 noon. Keep on calling until you get someone, if you do not find anyone, you may try the next time that they are open for application time that it is on 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month.
